Snowing in Istanbul @Jan 14, 2012

Yesterday (Jan 14, 2012), it was snowing beautifully in Istanbul. There was electricity shortage in many cities including Istanbul (subway was out of order for many hours!). I was invited to a dinner party so I needed to take the shuttle bus from Sile to Levent. I thought I might not come back home at night because of the snow. But everything went smoothly. I am safe and sound.

The snow made me really happy almost euphoric!
