How to reduce size of a pdf file in mac

I just learned/discovered an easy way to reduce file size of pdfs in mac.


- Open your pdf file in Preview
- Select File > Save As
- Rename your file just in case :)
- It says Format: PDF Quartz Filter: None
- Click Quartz Filter: None and Select "Reduce File Size"
- Save
- Well done, pal!


(I am well aware of pro, acrobat, etc. but ...)
