Spaciousness - The first painting of the third exodus

Spaciousness is my  first painting of the third time living abroad more than a year. I just completed it. Look at the colors!

Trees

Some of you may have already realized that I like trees. My wife, Beril, recently shared a beautiful photo of sky with stars and trees. That photo provided me a base to work on. No, this painting is not a copy of the photo - you can check it here. It took me two days to complete Trees.

I think and I hope Beril likes this painting.

I am adding two photos of Trees. The second one is from a side angle to get rid of some reflections.

Red and Clouds

 

This painting reminds me how my friends and I, as kids, were looking at the clouds and guessing what they look like, a dragon, a dog, a rabbit, ...

Seaside

Early paintings:
I like Nene Thomas's paintings. The central figure of this painting comes from her wonderful work.

Field

Here, mainly, I wanted to work on how to paint clouds, really large clouds. To give that impression, I needed to have some depth. I gave it by painting a large field underneath the clouds. I think I succeeded. But I didn't want to leave the painting 'empty'. So, I put several trees here and there. Of them, two are in the front. There is a pine-like tree that I like very much. It is not very tall but its top is unusually slanted. So, I painted one of the trees in the front (as if) leans toward the other one. I leave the rest to your imagination :)
